Cut the time it takes to access funding
It is likely that there is the perfect funding package out there, which will help you develop your healthcare innovation or even carry it through the final stages as you take the product to market.
Unfortunately, healthcare innovators are often overwhelmed by the sheer amount of information available, so it’s advisable that they take advantage of expert help.
This is because, while grants or investment opportunities are often awarded according to a predictable schedule (annual or bi-annual for example), others may appear out of nowhere.
There’s clearly a risk that if you don’t know where they are, if you don’t act quickly, and if you’re unsure how to easily check your compatibility with the grants and funding process, you will lose out.
Sources of help
An advisor from Innovation Nexus will be able to help filter through the funding available and will be aware of all upcoming opportunities. Further support is available through GM AHSN’s own funding initiative, the Technology Innovation Challenge Fund.
For example, so far the Technology Innovation Challenge Fund has put forward two calls: one to tackle patient safety and health with a focus on patient nutrition and hydration and Medicines Optimisation. Both have now closed to outline proposals, but keep a look out for forthcoming opportunities.
Companies that are developing new products with the aim of getting them accepted by the NHS can find funding help for R&D for these innovations with our help. With our assistance, you can cut through all the information and be able to focus on the relevant and appropriate sources of funding.
Support for healthcare organisations developing medical devices and services in the region is available from several of our associate organisations, allow healthcare organisations to identify and secure funding.
